Interior LED wrong bulbs
After reading all the hype on going LED I decided to do the mod. I hit up ebay for the 194 bulb replacements, t10 20smd and got 39mm festoons for the dome lights 5050 39mm 9-smd. The 194 bulbs fit and look great. The festoons do not fit they are too small. Did I misread something or are there different style or sizes of 39mm festoons, this LED thing is all new to me. Are these LEDs going to be brighter than the facotry domes?

Well that would make sense anybody else had this prob. 42mm correct for older ex's? also the 194 bulbs I purchased are too long and don't fit into the license plate marker lights or the running boards. What gives I thought this would be a quick little project.

I went through the same thing. I also went by a 2005 led switch out, mine is 02, dosent surprise me they're different. You will need the 42 mm for the interior dome lights. They make a shorter 194 for the license plate and running boards. I ordered mine through DDM Tuning. The first order was from eBay and Amazon, problems all the way around, biggest problem was leads were too short on the 194s and when you push the bulb all the way down in the socket it would loose contact resulting in no light. Vanity lights are the fuse type, it will show them on the site.
