Fuel return pressure question
To determine if a plastic injector cap is leaking vs. a metal injector line would pressurizing the system without running the motor (electric pump) be a good test?
I'm assuming that the IP allows pressure to the injectors only when it is running and that the return system would be pressurized via the return line from the filter housing to injector 1)
So, if there is a leak and there is no pressure at the nozzle then it must be the plastic cap.
Does this sound right?
