Exclamation quick question

How could one have low pressure at fuel rail with 2 brand new regulators and have a super rich running engine. Have ten pound pressure and it held the 10 pounds overnight.

What's the pressure at idle and wot? 36-41 is the target I believe for the V8s.

Leaking fuel injector maybe? Although then it would lose pressure overnight.

Thats what i had thought too. Is there some form of filter or screen in the line between fuel filter and regulator?

That's bizzare. What happens if you disconnect all the electrical connections on the injectors and prime the fuel pump? Does it build more pressure?

super rich running? maybe bad O2 sensor? or bad watertemp sensor? or another sensor that regulates the mixture?

it sound to me like you have an injector that is only able to hold 10Psi. and is bleeding down to that point. this would cause your low pressure and your rich condition.

i am not getting anything for fuel to fuel rail. i changed out the pump but now get a code 87. i am beginning to think i have a bad fuel filter even though its new. i had 50 pounds at the outlet of frame pump before i changed it. but nothing at rail. regulator is new also, i guess its time to put old parts back on
