I've recently added a weight distribution hitch with sway control (Blue Ox). I noticed that if I turn off the electronic sway control on my '14 250, I get less sway.
Is it possible that they are counter acting each other?
You really shouldn't be having any sway to start with.
I suggest that you go back to square one -
Level the trailer when it is hitched
Weigh the trailer
Weight the tongue
etc...........
There are multiple things that can cause sway and not all are easily diagnosed. Your report of increased sway with the truck's system is not unknown and has appeared in other forums on FTE in the past by my recall.
I would suggest reviewing your set-up and then using only the Blue Ox system or the truck's but not both as I would expect they will fight one another.
