NO A/C

Hi
Just new happy owner of F800/97/cummins 5.9
Truck don't have A/C. Is a big problem to install air conditioning kit , or factory parts? I am willing to invest up to 2k.
Any ideas?
Thanks for any help

There are 2 ways to mount a compressor on the engine.
one is on the 4 bolt bosses next to the oil filter. I thin k but am not sure that is the way Ford did it. Of course if you go this route you will need a compressor with the 8 rib wide serpentine belt pulley.

The other way is found in post#1 of this thread Cummins swap parts thread - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum
It shows the way most aftermarket companys put a compressor on a B series Cummins. complete with part numbers.
