Got an OEM fuel bowl that can be borrowed?

I'm gonna be buying Clay's HPOP spacer HPOP Large Capacity Billet Reservoir Spacer - Riffraff Diesel Performance but because I live in Cali, I can't delete the fuel bowl, which doesn't work with the spacer, as is.

Clay is gonna set me up with lines to extend my fuel bowl so I can use his spacer, but since he doesn't have one laying around to use for the mock up, I was hoping someone did the fuel bowl delete and still had theirs I could borrow.

I figure Clay would need it for a few weeks to get the proper measurements set up for the line extensions, then your bowl would be returned.

Obviously I'll be paying for the shipping both ways, from your house to Clays, and then back again.

So, does anyone have a fuel bowl that can be borrowed?

Wouldn't it just be easier to move out of Commiefornia?

I think I have one too if Matt can't find his.

Matt, Chris, Tim, thanks!

Tim, since you already have to send something to Clay, I'm guessing it would be easiest to borrow yours.

Probably, but I hate packing! Plus, when I looked into moving to Texas 13 or 14 years ago, the heat just about killed me when I came out to check it out!

First of all, it's not "Cali" to any native Californian anymore than Texas is "Tex" or Florida is "Flo" to their natives. As far as the "nuts and crazins", California is more conservative than most states. It's the original conservative state on firearms and policy and still remains so in many areas. The bleeding heart mentality is a global problem. Wanna see a land full of townies? Try Austin, Seattle, or the Texas Hill Country. There's more "fruits and nuts" there than you would think.

I've been all over the place, and about the only thing that really changes is the scenery and the amount of money a community has (which changes the man-made scenery). Sure, the ratio of particular types of people changes - but they're all there in one mix or another.

When I was choosing where to live and work, I was looking for the most appealing natural scenery and weather - and of course a healthy economy.

That being said - people from all over the country (including California) just stepped up to make a group effort to develop something for the whole 7.3L community. As we would say here in Washington (or Colorado) - "Put that in your pipe and smoke it."

Being from the east coast all I have is a time or to visiting the west coast and rumors and hearsay to work off of but...we are led to believe that it's Kalifornia. No?

Yeah, we are "led to believe" a lot of things....doesn't make it truth.

Tugly, wise words and well put.

Easy there Byron. I don't think Chris was necessarily talking about the people of California, it's more like the government and it's "awesome" policies. Kind of like the government here in the People's republiK of Marylandistan. It isn't that there aren't a good number of people on the right side of the 2nd amendment, and other conservative issues, it's just there are a lot of people in power that make policy that paints the state a particular color. You have people like Nancy Pelosi (an export from my "great" state, you're welcome to her) Barbara Boxer, etc. making national policy that is FAR from conservative. Many of the "innovative" left wing policies that all these progressives push are first put into place in California. That is where people come to the conclusions that apparently have your hairs in a bunch.

Stewart if not sure if you had a resolution to your question, but im considering doing the Fuel bowel delete (not sure of the advantages or disadvantages) but if I can get all that sorted out and clean things up some, I could send you mine and you just keep the F**ker I wouldn't be needing it anyways if I complete the delete and FRX install right? might as well give it to someone who can use it!

We can't get into politics here really, and you're more than 100% right about Austin Tex being way far to the left, but you have to admit that California is also on the leading edge of leftist policies that become law.

And do you really want to compare firearm laws from California to other states (not including the northeast or Illinois)?

The population centers control the direction, and unfortunately the population centers in Kalifornia are just as bad as Austin.
