I'd go for a flat plain bezel an move my switches to the console the way wifeys Liberty is.I'm also thinking of making all 4 windows auto down, with taurus switches.

If you end up retro fitting some Taurus switches, it would be awesome if you could do a small write up. I would love to have all four with the automatic function.
I got the idea off a thread i read a yr ago on here. There may already be a write up if you search it. Not sure though, but more then just z few members were in on the conversation.
Have you considered selling other than just here? If it's cheaper to make more perhaps Bronco Graveyard or Autocrafters, Dennis Carpenter, JC Whitney would be interested? I would take a few just to help out, two for the crewcab and two for the shelf in the garage.
How about we could have a slightly modified version available. The stock pieces are available with mounts for either the 4x4 pushbuttons, the diesel-specific idiot lights, both, or none. I suggest that there also be a version available where that space is left open and provided with 4 screw bosses on the back to mount a plate. Either that or just have that area completely flat instead of slightly curved with ribs. Reason being is that it's a good area to mount aftermarket items, but the curved surface and embossed ridges sometimes make for a not-so-great looking install.
I swapped to a manual transfer case, so on my bezel I removed the pushbuttons, dremel'd out the remaining plastic where the diesel indicators would be, and mounted a flat piece of plastic behind it. This plastic was cut out to accept a ScanGauge II, which I also modified so that it was able to be mounted into a flat panel. I'll post up a pic if anyone wants to see.
I'd like to see what you did. I am in the process of changing out some interior right now.
As a matter of fact parts are on the floor board now because the key will not even turn and I'm trying to get it to do something. ANyone know how to remove the key cylinder when the key will not even turn at all?
Didn't one of the aftermarket companies put wood accents into these trucks? Did they do the switch bezels?
Is it the one with the mirror that is just made a few years or is that for all the crew cab drivers side switch bezels? I am guessing it's the only years for this style door panel. Correct? I have so much to learn..
I just found this thread and may be able to help out here. We have a 3D printer at work. We make alot of proto type stuff at work with them. We also have piles of plastic material.
I like the ideal of doing the other trim pieces to match.
I also have a complete set of interior as spares. I just hauled home a complete cab assy this weekend.
I posted some of these on ebay today. All are manual side view mirrors. 3 in pretty good shape one a little rough. I put an ad up in the classifieds on FTE with my ebay name for an easy find if anyone needs any.
Every time this is proposed everyone complains about cost. If there was enough interest and buyers it would be very do able. I have everything lined up just need committed buyers with pre orders and patients to wait a month.

Its 16,000.00 to have the molds made back to factory specs the only difference would be is the screen print on the top. So for 100 ordered pieces they would be 160.00 ea. for 250 pieces they would be 64.00 ea. The more purchased the cheaper for all.
