hi i am looking for the correct bolts for my 65 f250 camper special the ones that hold the bed/tray to the chassis, it has the toolbox and extra left hand fuel tank, can you buy a kit or are they sold individually ,also my truck came with like a extra set of small leaf spring that sat on the top of the normal springs it had extra long u bolts,i had to remove these on import to nz ,the goverment tech guy said they where not original and dangerous they looked like a original part to me ,but hey just wanted to get the truck on the road so had to remove them but in doing so i had to mod the ubolts back to a normal size are these long ones still available, thanks

I bought the bolts for the bed of my truck at the local hardware store, the Ace Hardware store here in my home town has a wall of bolts and nuts of all different sizes and they sell them buy the piece.
Or there are a number of sites on the web; NPD, LMC, MAC's, Dennis Carpenter to name a few that you can get parts catalogs from that should have the bolts and the spring U-bolts.
I ordered mine through Fastenal since no one around here carried 7/16" carriage bolts in stainless steel. I may not deal with them again but I won't be dealing with rusted bolts if I have to. Not expensive as they were $1.49-2.91
I got a set of bed bolts and washers from LMC along with rubber insulator pads to go between the frame and bed. The insulator pads are a thin piece rubber and you can also get them at Home Depot. I am not sure if HD carries the 7/16 bolts. They have a pretty goo selection.
