So today I was replacing the outside drivers door handle on my 1969 CS. All was going well until I went to reinstall the inside door handle. It turns out that the two small studs (3/16) that you slide the inside door handle over and secure with the 2 small nuts are essentially stripped or threads worn flat from the handle being loose at some point. Anyone have any suggestions on a quick fix? I was wondering about wrapping the threads with aluminum foil to see if that would help the nuts grab or maybe using steel wool. ....... ideas??

Thanks for the part number NumberDummy...that will help. I was able to get it tight today by sort of cross threading a different nut. I obviously need to get a new or good used one.
