Fuel gauge not working!

Fuel gauge not working!
I recently had to let my fuel tank get passed E. Payday came, and I filled my tank to full. I fired it up, waiting for the satisfaction that I always get from seeing the gas gauge rise to F. No dice this time! It's still on E.
Any ideas? Is the gauge stuck? Anyone know where it's at or how to fix it?

Mostly likely a stuck float. One way to test the gauge is remove gauge wire from tank the touch it to any ground for just a few seconds, just long enough to show movement.
Any movement indicates gauge is good.
Remove float assembly may be enough to free it, recheck gauge reading.
