Hello every one i'm new on the forum, and i got a question about windshield
i got a 1983 Ford F-350 XL Crew Cab Pickup 4-Door 5.8L 351Cu. In. V8 GAS OHV Naturally Aspirated and i have a windshield whit crom trim but i want to replace it with normal black seal is possible ? if yes where i can find the windshield seal ? i was looking on internet but no luck and whit my catalog parts and number i can't find it any help thanks Paul!
Quickest and cheapest way I would think that could be achieved would be to plasti-dip the trim. Little to no surface prep, and it stays on there until you wish to peel it off.
oneowner: i haven't see that's way i ask if anyone know if possible i don't won't put it back the chrome trim,
SVTDriver: is not bad idea the plasti-dip but the problem is that i want to change is also because i need to pull out the windshield to fix the windshield body frame i got rust in some place

I'd say carefully remove the trim, hire a service to come out to remove/replace the windshield, fix your rust issues, POR-15 it, then plasti-dip your trim and then have them put it back on. Then your issue is fixed, and your trim is black.
