Good morning all. Weekend looks great. Sunny and warm, perfect for camping. Belmont stakes this Saturday. Chance for a "Triple Crown". Last was Secretariat. Today is the anniversary of D-Day invasion. A lot of good American died in that action. Hat off to them. Yes we have no Priuses, we have no Priuses today. Sounds like lyrics to me.
Secretariat holds the record, but Seattle Slew won triple crown in 1977 followed by Affirmed in 78.
Chrome never stood a chance in my opinion, but media does a great job of getting everybody pumped up.
Think i passed John heading up 84E a little while ago?
I was on 84 Friday 4:00 in the afternoon during the rush to get out of Hartford.
Noting that California Chrome just plane tired out. and yes to much hype. I should had clarified that California Chrome was no Secretariat. All I remember was that she was out front all by herself and that left me awe struck. That was one beautiful horse. Seattle Slew and Affirmed also won and were good horses to.

Yup that was you...was headed westbound right on that flat spot near cabelas
Connecticut diesels dyno day was a good time today, had a pretty good turnout for the first time. Got to meet a few guys from PSA and that ive talked to on facebook groups as well. Not sure what the highest HP truck was there but a 6.4 made 1027HP and a 6.7 cummins made 1090HP

Connecticut Diesels Dyno day? And what is PSA? Always interested in Dyno meets in the area.
I wanted to go to that, but we have an out of state visitor staying with us so instead I have to go to all sorts of awesome restaurants. She works for Caterpillar and brought me a die cast D11 so I'm pretty happy.
