Yeah, I was really impressed with how quick it was said to be when researching. It's certainly quick driving as well. You can't mash the pedal though. You have to roll into it. The CVT doesn't know what to do when you put your foot down.
Just got back from camping and what do I see on the CT site but another mention of the tiny Prius. You do know that I told Tom to put it out on the front lawn, but he told me it didn't work and had pictures. One thing I forgot to mention was that you have to fertilize the Prius, and we all know what make up fertilizer don't we. lol

You keep calling it tiny, but it has a substantially bigger interior than your Jeep. Jealous?
We hit the river again today, this time from the ramp in East Hartford. They charge $15 to use it, but it's a MUCH better facility than the one in Windsor that I've used before.
Nice. There is another one in Rocky Hill by the ferry, but at all of the ones directly on the river you fight the current. We always went to Wethersfield Cove. I have no idea how much it charges now though.

I think it's more expensive. The ranger at the ramp told me Wethersfield is $25 and Rocky Hill is $30.
We turned around in Rocky Hill earlier today. My wife was fascinated by the ferry and had me take a photo.
Nice picture Tom. We will pick up a ice treat at Rita's on Rt. 99 and go sit at the Ferry Landing at Rocky Hill. Only problem with that launch is that it floods a lot. This year we have been there 4 times and 3 times it's been under water.
Good morning everyone. It's Monday again. Last full week before a short work week.

Huh, that doesn't surprise me considering how much the river fluctuates. The East Hartford ramp was closed on Memorial Day weekend because the river was too high. Made me feel good launching at Windsor though, that place can get kind of touchy to get to when the river is low. Have been on the river three times and haven't hit anything yet!
Hi everyone. I'm new around here and was wondering if any of the diesel drivers might be able to help me out with something. I have an 01 7.3l Excursion and need to get it registered. I am military and just moved a few months ago to CT from WA and my WA registration is about to expire. Is it hard to get a big truck registered in CT and will I have problems getting emissions testing done? I have a few mods done to my truck, air intake, Air intake heater deleted, and I don't have a cat. I don't think my truck came with one but am not sure.

Thanks for any help.
You should have no problems with registration or emissions. All they want is your money and time standing in line.
01 7.3 automatic doesn't have a cat. So you're safe.
