I am so happy with my truck, it never entered my mind. New is always nice, but I don't want to spend $60,000 to replace my truck. This V10 has bee absolutely flawless, plus I only have 78,000 on the clock.
That's my favorite vehicle too---paid for! (Insert Thumbs Up Emoticon here!)
At 78K miles you've got at least another 200K possible with regular maintenance. Such a nice looking ride deserves a good home and owner for the rest of its life!

Congrats!
Thanks, I have done all maintenance myself since new. This has been the most trouble free ride I have owned. I had all 3 diesels and they all gave me trouble and grief.
I just did every fluid and filter in the truck @ 75,000 miles & plugs I am good to go for awhile.
We just paid our 02 F250 4x4 Crew cab V10 off yesterday. Feels good to have it paid off. Now to start looking for something else to spend the money on. LOL

What is a truck like mine really worth? KBB says my truck is only worth $28,000 in excellent condition?
It would cost me $60,000 + to replace my King Ranch? I consider my truck in Very Good condition besides the typical paint chip from rocks.
I don't have intensions of selling my truck, but was wondering what it would bring in the real world?
My truck is pretty much stock except for the Bilstein Leveling kit and Wheel & Tires, Custom Grill. It is a KR V10 4:30 Gear Ratio...pulls like a Bull !!
On a trade in the dealer will give you "GOOD". If you get higher from them then the screw will come else where.
Congrats on paying it off. I quit making payments years ago. I drive old junk don't care what it is worth bought it all cheap fixed what was needed. They all will go anywhere anytime.
Funny thing is my 99 Dodge 4x4 2500 QC V10 just turned 80,000 miles. Bought it 4 years ago for $5,500 cash.
I've got a few more months to pay on my '09 V10 but similarly no issues (major ones, I do have a couple minor ones) and I plan to keep it till it falls apart. Then put it back together and keep it some more. I feel like mine is unique since I ordered it... not too many '09 V10 6 speeds out there!
Maybe after I don't have to pay the big payments for a while I can finally afford that aftermarket bumper and perhaps a nicer look'n grill to replace the XL grill. Would like to find some nicer seats too.

Mine was a special order as well. When I told the salesman what I wanted, he tried to talk me back into another diesel. I told him I wont own another diesel !! and if u don't want my business I will take it down the road.
Long story short, he took my order which was also strange for a Superduty. I ordered a 1ton SRW CC SB KR & 4:30 gears.
