I wouldn't do the 1.0 housing unless you have and are going to stay with stock injectors for a while. I think stage 1s might be OK but EGTs would get really high in the upper rpm range (3k+). The 1.0 housing effectively lowers your powerband within the rpm range so you don't have to have the motor singing at 3k+ to get the power you need. (It builds boost much faster)
There is a lot of people that will say not to do the 1.0 housing because of higher EGTs. I actually found the opposite on stock injectors up to about 3100rpm, then EGTs did seem to get higher but the power isn't at that rpm range anymore anyway. I found it had more power and lower EGTs up to about 3100rpm. I have about 10k heavy towing miles on my 1.0 housing without the IC and another 5k with the IC. It works great towing.
It is a great upgrade with stock injectors. It might not be a wise upgrade if you plan on doing bigger injectors in the near future.
RiffRaff Diesel is IMHO the best place to buy parts, Clay has the best customer service I have ever seen, he will take care of you and his prices are great too.
