Transfer case issues
I decided to detonate my t-case in my '93 ford f250(oops) and have got my hands on a new one. It had a BW 1345 in it out of a '83 f350 along with a c-6. I now have a BW 1356 again and the only difference is the rear output yokes. They are boat solid but the 1345 had a single solid u-joint an the 1356 has a flange/cv type. Can I swap the yokes directly it so I need a new driveshaft? Thank you.

I've had luck tacking the slip yoke off the drive shaft and using the saddle and flange, it worked on my 95 f150. If you do that make sure that you have a jack shaft so that you don't break stuff when the axle moves

I did the swap not too long ago from a 45 to a 56, I found mine at the junkyard but it was already pulled and laying on the ground.. The rear output yoke was smaller than my 45 so I had to buy a conversion u joint, I believe mine either came out of a Bronco or a f150? Simply because of the smaller u joint at the rear output. The front drive shaft bolted right up no issues, with the exception you will have to make a longer shift rod or your shifter is literally going to be at your knees lol
