I am trying to determine the correct size U Joints to order for my two wheel drive F350. I want to make certain that I obtain the correct size, as I plan on ordering online and do not wish to have the vehicle down for an excess amount of time.
If someone has the part numbers or the dimensions on the U Joints please post it up. I simply cannot locate what I am looking for. Thank you all in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide.
Not sure if this will be helpful, but if I'm purchasing online I will sometimes call my locally owned auto parts store and get the aftermarket part number. I think they have the oem number, as well. I too, am always a little nervous about getting the right part when ordering online, unless it's from online retailer that I have experience with. Hope you get the right ones.
Crawled under the truck this evening and determined the size to purchase. Looking at the driveline, everything is nice and tight. I think I will purchase the parts and put them away before they go through the roof in price. Plan on keeping this truck for another 750,000 miles.
