1985 E350 Diesel Tried to fix lights, now it won't start,
I have been remodeling a box van. It is an 85 E350 Diesel. Runs great, low mileage... However...
Upon driving recently I noticed there were no brake lights. The running lights worked and turn signals, but no bright red to signify breaking.
So, I changed them because they were old and one was installed upside down .
Purchased trailer lights at harber freight and installed those, only to find that the break lights still won't work.
I thought it could be a fuse, so I started messing around with those. I replaced what I had thought were the right ones and now, the thing wont even start!
It goes to crank and then nothing. OHHH I'm so discouraged. This seems like such a simple fix and I would love to know how to remedy this on my own. ( well with your help that is)
Please let me know if there is any other info you need. I can take pics during the day tomorrow if need be as well.
Your help is so much appreciated. I don't want to see my baby towed away for something silly

Replacing a fuse with another good fuse of the same amperage cannot cause your problem, so I would look closely for anything you may have accidentally disconnected in areas you were working.
When you turn the key on does it do the normal stuff but refuse to crank, or is it doing something else... If that's what it is then you should be able to start it by using a jumper wire on the starter solenoid near the right battery... And then diagnose from there
