so my 03 f350 4x4 cc,lb,drw 69k miles. all the accessories have been changed, water pump, icp, eot, ect, oil cooler, exhaust, intercooler, intake, egr delete,etc... I am running the tow tune from innovative on my sct tuner. had the head studs , one new head and the other decked, 3500 miles ago, it was good for about 3k,but now its doing the same thing as before. Blowing coolant out of the degas tank cap while towing. its fine on the flats while towing, but underlaod going up hills , and above 20 psi boost, it spews out the coolant, pegs the temp gauge. let your foot out of it and get back on it, the gauge falls back to normal range. Pull over and add 1-1 1/2 gals. of h2o and keep on cruising.... anybody else experienced this, could it be something else ??

Did they check the new head? they're never flat, everyone says the new heads need to be done just as much as the old ones.
So factory head gaskets were used. Thermostat was changed. The degas cap was changed right before the head gaskets were done as the cap blew apart. I have another new one on order the ford dealer did not have one in stock ???
So without the tune installed , it actually blows coolant sooner than with a tune. It definately is working harder. It didn't seem to do it the first few thousand miles after the head work ? Thank you
