Ooops

Had a bit of moisture on the roads today when I got off of work.
Was getting onto the interstate via an on ramp. Well I proceeded to roll into it like I do as normal to get up to speed and she broke loose on me--dang near got horizontal with the road. I'll have to change my throttle up procedure when its wet out.

HAHA--we got those drivers here too. It's actually been raining since last Sunday off and on--that's why i was a bit surprised.
Could have been a little light on the rear end since I'm now down a bit lower than a qtr tank (rear mounted)

Write me into you will. I want your truck and any trailers you have.
That is if she is willing to let anyone know you are no longer
among the living after that remark.

does it sound like the turbo just spooled and took off on u? tat happens. although i've heard a good fix is to install the wicked wheel 2 on our turbos. fix tat right up. another thing could be a new rear sway bar is in order. tat helps keep u planted on the ground too.

That could have been it--didnt seem like the case but makes more sense than anything else. I gotta take a look at the swaybar. Truck used to be a cab chassis--not sure the set up. Im saving money to do some upgrades-wheel is on the list

if it used to be a cab chassis, then expect the frame to be positioned closer towards the center, unlike a standard 4-wheel powerstroke. tat being said, ur center of gravity and equilibrium is shifted more towards the middle and setup to be sturdier for tat towing application. it's just plain old terrible when u turn either way and ur not as steady as a regular 4 wheel powerstroke.

if i'm not mistaken, all cab chassis and duallies have frames tat are situated closer towards the middle. mine is a pain when i try to drive it around corners like a BMW. fortunately, i have an extra set of wheels in the back and my new rear sway bar kit helps a ton!

hope this info helps.

It does help. Yep I was in a slight turn. You are correct on the frame too. The cab chassis is 3 inches narrower then standard truck and front to back is flat as a pancake. Will be looking into a different sway bar for sure.
