Rough idle while in "D"

Rough idle while in "D"
Hello, I did a little research but every other post that I came across everybody talked about COP's, which I don't have.
98 expedition, 4.6, 210k miles.
Hasn't been driven in about a month and just noticed that after driving around and warming it up, it will idle rough while stopped and in drive, it accelerates pretty slow and sluggish, not until the rpms are up that the sluggishness is almost gone. for now while it's in park it idles smooth.
Within the last 3k miles I've replaced the plugs, wires, changed the tranny fluid and installed a transgo kit probably about 5k miles ago. it ran fine until now. i'll be placing it in the garage after the kids go to bed and check a couple things, but what might be some things I can start with? I know the tranny fluid is a little high because as soon as it started acting up that's the first thing I checked so I will be draining a little out.

Update!
yes the filter was changed recently.
since I posted this, I kind of put it off until now. The truck doesn't get driven except once a week to keep it from just sitting there. At first I thought if I drove it had enough I would eventually get a check engine light with a misfire code, but no.
Not unil this weekend I actually got under the hood and found the problem. Basically when I changed the spark plugs autozone gave me the incorrect ones. went to the dealer and the ones I got are about a quarter inch longer. everything works just fine now.........
