F800 Fleet , Need Help
I need some professional knowledge on these trucks. I have acquired 3 f800's. Seems there is not a dealer in my area that offers a lot of help with them. All have 5.9 cummins. 1997,1999 models. Im in Raleigh NC if anyone is close. If there is a guru local I will pay for your time just to counsel me on these trucks.
1 problem with all three
Antifreeze in crossmember under the radiator? There just seems to be a puddle there all the time. Is this the plastic tank? I know they seem to crack.
2nd problem is the hydraulic brakes.
Not sure if the system is up to par. Seems like we have to push on the peddle hard to get stopped on these trucks. The one with air brakes stops like a dream.

Since no one has responded, I'll jump in with my 2 cents. Look for a good local independent shop. I'm a little too far from you to recommend one, but you may have better luck finding one on the outskirts of Raleigh. You may want to check with some local Big Truck Junkyards for a good recommendation.
