Well, washington has started to catch up with my ex and I was wondering your guys' personal preferences for undercoating and bedliner diy brands(rattle cans and 1 gallon roll ons). I got a quote from a line-x shop to do a bedliner on my front bumper and they were saying $200 and then $500 for an undercoating. And alas I would much rather spend my money on some proper lighting and a new winch I figured Id ask the communities advice.
Ive heard good things about monstaliner also. Although I think I may be stuck with 3m(nothing wrong with it). They've got a good tan color that matches my side steps and rear bumper caps so I was thinking about shooting my ORT bumper with that. And then I found they also make pretty damn good undercoating too, which should be loads of fun. Thanks for your input though guys ill throw some pics up once my little project is done.
Monstaliner has more color options and a more subtle texture and it's UV protected because it's an enamel(not nearly as tough).
Herculiner doesn't have the color options but the texture is a lot more rough and tough. It's NOT UV protected due to it being a polyurethane.
I personally like the look and feel of Herc. I doubt you'll have many issues with it fading anytime soon and if it does just add another coat down the road.
For undercoating I'd look into Chassis Saver....I did a good bit of research before buying it and from what I read it seems like a great product.
Ill take a look at the chassis saver. Monstaliner would probably fine if they had the color I need. My offroading is minimal and the bumper is mainly ment to be a meat catcher/pull bar/prius intimidator. Thanks for the input.
