Leaf Springs
I've never replaced leaf springs - but it looks pretty straight forward. If I measure to the bottom of the fender @ the centerline of the tires I get the following measurements
Front Driver-29.5 passenger 28.5
Rear Driver-32.5 passenger 30.5
A pretty noticeable lean to the right. On the right rear it looks like someone may have flipped the 2nd, and 3rd springs from the bottom.
The front main springs look like some negative arch.
I want to replace all 4 springs. I like the lower stance on the right side. I've been pricing springs and I see some that have a 2.5 inch drop in the front and multiple choices between 3-5 inches on the rear.
Can anyone give me an idea of how I can determine which springs to buy?
Anyone have fairly new springs that could give me some measurements like I provided above for comparison?
I will not be carrying large heavy loads. Maybe a couple sheets of plywood and a few 2x4 time to time.
