Have you pulled the codes? I would start there and see if that gives you any leads? Also, search on here for threads around the "limp" mode. It sounds like it is going into limp mode and maybe you can backtrack some of the reasons it goes into limp mode and find your problem. Wish I could be more help.

Where in Oklahoma are you located? Also, I don't mean to sound insulting, but to get you the help you need I have to ask. There where 3 diesel motors available in 1994 -
