PEA Fuel Additive Mini Tutorial
Some fuel ad packs are more effictive than others & some fuels have a higher concentration of ad pack, depending on who the marketer is & what label the fuel is being marketed under, like fuels marketed under the "Top Tie" label. If we use Chevron, Texaco, CalTex, Shell, they already have some PEA in their fuel ad pack. So adding additional after market PEA, like Techron Concentrate Plus, can raise the treat rate 10X above pump gas alone & can often tidy up fuel injectors, intake valves, piston crowns & heads in one treatment. So, if we choose wisely, we can often tidy up a deposit laden rough running engine with the proper recipe fuel additive.
Hundai & Kia recommend using Techron Concentrate Plus before an oil change, wonder what they know?????

Additive manufacturers were constantly at our door peddling their latest mouse milk. Most oem's take sort of a non-aggression stance towards the mouse milk people, as it would tie up too many resources to qualify or disqualify them all. As soon as one goes away, another 5 pop up, sort of like dandelions on a lawn. Some oems even market some of these mouse milk items through their parts arms as a profit center. The stuff rarely does any good, but as long as it doesn't hurt anything and they can fleece the consumer, why not get in on the action and pocket some money.
Stick with quality fuels and lubes. The oem engine manufacturers work closely with API and other industry groups to establish quality standards.
The aftermarket marketers of these additives are largely *****s. All they care about is their pocketbooks. Their disciples are passionate, however, and truly believe in "overhaul in a can" or whatever the latest marketing hype is for th mouse milk of the day.
It is sort of like late night food supplement pitches on tv, or maybe the latest incarnation of the vegamatic..
