Heys guys

Just wanted to intro my self. James is the name, and the 84 f150 is the new truck to me. I usually read the 6.0 forums and little of the "big truck" forums, but i will be reading and asking stuff in here now. The new ford is 302 powered and has an AOD. She runs stops and drives fine. But we all know how new to us stuff can turn out. I got to find out where to hook the ScanGauge 2 on this thing;-)

ScanGauge 2? Is that the OBD II scanner you're talking about? If so, that didn't come about in trucks until, um, 1996 or 97.

Cripe, 1984, you might not even have OBD-I computer, it's entirely likely you don't have ANY computer at all.

That poor sap may be me I drove her about 30 miles around town today. Suprising "peppy". Definatly worth the few hundred I had in the barter.
