Lifted ?

So Im ready to exchange my shocks all around, and I parked next to another X and I look higher, then I parked next to a 250 and the doors meet ?

So Im not sure what shocks to get..any idea as to the high from the ground to the edge of the well is ? or another way of telling.

Its driving me crazy..

the rear should probably sit level with the F250, the front (if stock) should be a few inches lower (1-2" i think). If the front and the back of your truck is level then someone put a leveling kit up front. (either shackles, block or add-a-leaf)

it'd only be one add-a-leaf to get it up to level. or a 1.5-2" shackle, or a 2" block. easiest way for me to tell how i'm sitting up front is just look at the space the bumpstop has. if it's 1.5 or less inches you're probably stock. if it's more then you've got a leveling kit in there. My 2" shackles gave me a total of around 3-4" at the bump stop i think (maybe a bit more).

Not on the stock suspension.

That's not what my conclusion would be.

If the Ex is sitting at the same height as the F250 you parked next to (what year F250?) then my first thought would be the previous owner did the V code, B code spring swap.

As far as shocks most guys go with either Rancho or bilsteins. My 00 x has the Rancho 9000 adjustable. One was faulty from day 1. My 02 x has bilsteins.

The bilsteins are nice and putting 7 bilsteins in the 00 x with the 5in icon lift.
