Tall tires needed for a Dually

Hello team,
I need tall tires for my dually: what are my options? I need the tallest tire(radial and not bias) that will fit on a stock rim. I’m ok to do a minor lift (hangers in front and blocks in rear) if necessary.
Let me know your opinion.

I'd like to hear from someone that's actually running these. I'm seriously considering them, well 255/80/17's in my case, but it'd be good to hear from someone who has actually done it. Pics would be even better!

Edit: 215/85/16 stock tires? I will check it out tonight when I get back home.

Looking at a few 215/85/16's they mostly appear to be around 30.5" tall. My stock tires on my '07 are 245/75/17's that run around 31.5" tall.

I've found two 255/80/17's - BFG Mud Terrain TA KM2's that are 33.3" tall (255/85/16's are the same diameter) and Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx that are like 32.8" tall - not sure if they even have comparable 16's. There may be more choices in 16's, too.

I think those are the only 2 options. I saw a superduty outside a Discount Tire with the Coopers.

I run a 255/85/16... It's awesome. Would love to buy new ones but there's only a couple places that sell them now, and are fairly pricy.
What are you planning on doing with the truck.
If you want super aggressive then interco makes a "Q78" tire that's narrow enough for a dually setup. They are either 34.5 or 36" tall. I can't remember. But they are narrow.
Otherwise you're gonna have a tricky time finding tall tires that are narrow.

i had 255 85 16 on my dually . you can go larger if you put spacers in rear between the duals, i know ebay use to sell them .i did like my tires though seemed like a good size with the level kit i had on it .
