Turn off backup sensor permanently?

I installed my WD hitch and since then the backup sensor beeps every time without a trailer. It is quite a bit bigger than a normal hitch so I guess it sees it as an obstacle.

I can turn it off every time from the menu but it resets to on when I restart the truck. I'd like to turn it off for the whole summer. I also have the camera so the beep is more annoying than helpful.

Serious question: Is there a dedicated speaker for it? In my 2014 the audio system mutes and it appears the sound is piped though one of the eight or so audio speakers in the truck.

Anyone have a wiring diagram and can help locate the speaker?
