new knobs and bezzels

new ***** and bezzels

i ordered new alum ***** and chrome bezzels from mid fiftys, my question is what holds the bezzels on? like the lights and wipers, there is no threads on the bezzels, i would have thought they would screw on, i get them tomm,

Not sure on a 53, but on my 56 there are threaded keepers to hold the bezels in place. The light switch has outer threads and the wiper switch keeper had inner threads.

I didnt see any threads on the bezzels, ill look closer when they get here today

Like this 1953-55 Ford F-100 6 Volt Headlight Switch Threaded Insert for lights and this 1953-60 Ford F-100 Switch Insert, Wiper Heater for wiper and heater

Its a separate piece.

They both use nuts, like said one is internal threads and the other is external.

The good thing my heater is different than that the bad thing is i didnt get any nuts, , i wish they had ask if i needed them, , now i have to wait another week ,, geee
