My brother-in-law and my sister came to get my '54 today. It has not run right for over a year and a half. I am at my wits end. I told him I want to drive it home!
It wouldn't start for us. When my son came home from work he and the guy he rides with tried to push it down the alley and bump start it... no luck. So it went onto the street. I called a buddy and I got the neighbor kid and the 5 of them pushed it onto the trailer as I steered.
It was a sad yet happy day. He thinks it is the carb which he had rebuilt. And the valves need adjusted. But he can and will get to the bottom of it. And I trust him. Will keep you posted as he tells me of his progress.
I'm sorry it's going, but glad you have someone you can trust to figure it out. I've wasted more time and $$ going to people I didn't know, good luck. L8R ZFLASH
