I'm trying to get my not so new, but new to me, 2001 Limited 7.3 through a MD inspection. It failed on many counts, but I'm down to just the fog lights. If the light is on the truck, it has to work. I may just take them off, but if I can fix them I'd rather just do that.
So far, I've verified that the fuse and relay both work. Fuse is hot both sides and relay 203 works in another socket. There is still no power at the light sockets. I can see where the previous owner appears to have hacked some other lights in at some point, which might be the problem. Is there somewhere on the harness that there is another connector I can disconnect and check for voltage. It looks like the the fog light harness was available as an add-on, but where is the connector?
Thanks,
Jay
