fog light issue

Hello everybody, a few days ago my brother wanted to take me truck out, I had a fog light out so I told him he could if he changed the blown bulb out. A few minutes later he came back in and said that he had twisted the bulb and it wouldn't come out, but the other one had gone out when he twisted it. So I went out and had seen that he had assumed that the bulb was two piece, he twisted the bulb till the two pronges touched. I believe it may have sent power back up the wire and burnt out a relay. I've checked both fuses, is there any other relay I can check? The fog light emblem comes on when I pull out on the head light switch. Any ideas? I guess I just should of changed it myself. Stupid mistake.

I also checked as much of the wiring as possible and couldn't find any shorts. I believe its a relay somewhere.

So it seems through some online research that ford convienetly put something in the fuse box and when it goes bad, no more fog lights. The orange and tan wire that comes out of the box that feeds the lights, could I just run my own relay and fuse and wire it directly to the factory fog light switch?

Does anybody know which wire in the back of the under dash fuse box feeds power to the fog lights? And is there any other relay between the fusebox and the foglights under the dash? I've tested everything I can find, I even tested the "non serviceable" relay that turns the fog lights off when the high beams turn on. So, if there's nothing else between the underdash fuse box and the fog lights, then, if anybody can tell me which ones the fog light power wire, I'll take that, wire in my own relay and hook it to the fog light switch built in to the main light switch.

That's what I'm thinking. But I can't seem to find it. I've tested every fuse in the box, and relays. Drawing at straws right now. I had the fuse box unbolted, pulled out slightly and started testing each individual wire to see where power went in and power came out, more troubleshooting tomorrow I guess.
