Under hood Light and Switch

Ok be honest, how many of you have this set up?

I've seen household light switches used a lot on bumps, and slicks but mainly on bumps. Why?

Not Me! I guess too many people remember there being a household light bulb as the "o" in "FORD" in the early 70's FORD commercials.

I picked up a couple of these last year - one for me and one for a fellow FTE'er in WA.

I have the factory hood light & mercury switch on one of my hoods.
I'm jealous of that house toggle.

I should have taken a picture of the wire nuts that were used, one orange and one black.
I may just start marketing this as a kit. How many should I make up? I'm sure they'll sell fast.

That guys brother who designed the lite must be living in the SF So. Bay area because saw a 220v Beaker switch for the battery cut off switch. Yup it was on bump at that in Pnp.

Now, I could understand it if the vehicle was a Chevy.
