I have a 1970 f250 that has a 360 with a c6 and I am looking to swap it out for a 390.
Does anyone know if this is a quick bolt down or do I need to fab a few things
I have also thought about just rebuilding the 360. I live in PHX, AZ. Does anyone know of a fair and honest shop that can do this if I choose this direction?
Only thing to verify is the exhaust bolt pattern for the exhaust manifolds in case you end up getting a car 390fe instead of a truck engine. Also, the oil pan, same reason. Other than that, truck to truck, go for it.

Welcome to FTE.
360 and 390 pickup motors are identical except for the crank, rods and pistons. This applies to FE motors in general. Other than tags, they are, in any given year, pretty much the same outside except the carb, and some differences in exhaust manifolds for different car models. Truck wise, not many clues. Some 390s had 4bbl carbs but that's about it.
What kind of budget do you have?
What kind of engine do you want?
What kind of work or driving do you do with the truck?

It's a rolling project truck that I use for business
Budget.....fair. It's hard to say. I don't know what to expect so I can't give firm numbers.
