Well, heres an update... it took my computer 3 hours to re-download it...(worked on a windows but not my mac) I put it in the tuner and same thing.... it just gives me the logo on the tuner and right away it says initializing communication. .. no gauges pop up and it doesnt even try to load... im just gonna have to call the company I got it from and just ask for an exchange. ... theres obviously something wrong here.... gotta love expensive technology!
Call H&S and have them load the card for you remotely before you got through all that return headache. My card would not load correctly the first time and they loaded it remotely and it worked fine. They do all the work, you just allow them to remote into your computer. They use Team Viewer I believe to remote in.
You should still be able to get into the menu even if it says 'Initializing Communication' as would be the case if you had manually turned on the tuner (with the switch on the OBD/HDMI/12VDC junction box) without the key in the ignition. Try the top left softkey.
This would probably be a whole lot easier if I were looking at the device, but we'll try our best here over the forums (until you get fed up/frustrated).
Savage is right.... I had the same problem.. spent $1500 all excited plug it in... and it stayed at the initializing communication... called h&s and 2 hours later I was all set with no issues since.. they did all the work for me! I wouldn't want to deal with the returning process!
