Hey guys, I have looked and looked and looked online for a while now on how to fix my limp mode problem on my 2004 f150, with no avail which is why I'm asking.
I have a 2004 f150,
318,000km
I have done;
plugs
coils
intake gaskets
throttle body change
ive had it to a shop to get the tps reset
It still goes into limp mode, without fail
So I am asking, what do you guys think it could be? I am at a loss.
Also; as of today, it has a throttle body spacer, diablosport tuner, and volant cold air intake.
Start by checking the mass airflow sensor. If it's dirty try cleaning it either carb and choke cleaner or brake cleaner. But be sure the sensor is good and dry before reinstalling and starting the truck. And if it's damaged in some way then it'll need to be replaced. Other wise start checking and cleaning all ground connections. Simply resetting the code will NOT fix anything.
