Power deployed steps
I disconnected my battery.
Now the drivers step has about a 15 second delay before it retracts.
Everything else about them is correct and the passenger side has no delay.
Does anybody know how to reset that... or better yet, set the other one for the same delay?

I agree that is an excessive delay...does the door close flush? They do have about a 2 or 3 second delay built in for when you open another door right away the step is not moving back and forth.

The door is flush and all functions the same... just the delay... its actually around 10 seconds.
If you open and close the door before it gets all the way down it retracts right away as it always did.
Very little info in the owners manual.
I would think if it were a setting in the truck PCM it would affect both....

I think it's about 3 second...I can close the back and right away teach for the rear door without it moving...but if you hesitate...it starts to retract. Oh and did you know it has a safety built in? Try pushing down on the step as it is closing.

3 seconds is about what my passenger side is... and drivers side was.

I am out of warranty.....
Kinda sucks to think the truck may do this anytime you change your battery or let it run down.
