I was bidding on a Craftsman router one time, It started out at $40 then the last few minutes, bidders were going crazy, ended up at $139, glad it wasn't me....I went to Sears and bought the same one new for $99!
My wife is hooked. We went to a garage sale, she saw these pairs of Rockies. Ok, they are womens western jeans and she had sold a bunch of her old ones. We paid $6 for 6 pair and made over $60 on eBay with them. Not bad. Now if I can just keep her off of it for a while so that I don't have to build another shed for the stuff she finds and buys.
I've bought and sold a couple of things myself. Over all, a good place, but check around. And remember, if it was on there once, it will show up again.
We made nearly $7K last year selling tractors of Ebay. I sometimes sit there and type things into the searcbox trying to stump it. I never have. They have everything!
Let me tell you about me and Ebay. Feeling emotional, went to E-bay. Got teary eyed, it was a mistake to sell our bird (kicking self). Looked up Thunderbirds, since that is the only car I want to have as a family car. I own my truck, hubby his stang (NOT family oriented). But, we sold our maual turbo coupe, had everything but sunroof. The night before it went into the paper, I CRIED the whole way to the gas station in the bird for the last time.
So, I long to find a Bird someday.
Had to tell someone my pity story.
ANYWAYS, check this baby out. WOW!! Isn't she pretty!!
I sold bent leaf springs for a 100 bucks on ebay....some guy said he didn't care. I even emailed the guy after he bid on them to make sure he read the part about "bent"
EBAY is the GREATEST!!!! you can find anything, buy anything and pay anything.....sometimes you can get something you'd never find or want to find anywhere else. I am hooked as well. I've bought a laptop, baseball cards, radar detector, fishing poles and reels, and the list goes on and on.....sometimes I like to just browse and see what kind of stupid stuff people have bought....I guess its like they say..."One person's trash is another's treasure!"
