Something not right here.....
I mounted the heater box back in My '59 F100 after cleaning and painting it, And the hose fittings, do not match the hole in the firewall, as shown in the pic below. I put the box back in the original mounting holes. So, any ideas as to how to connect them back up? Old hoses were already cut off from it when I got it

Are you sure that is the correct heater? On mine the hoses are closer together.

Yes, it's the original heater case. Not sure about the heater core though

Let us see a better picture of the heater box, from what I can see in your picture it does not look like an original box to me. Like 3414 said the tubes should exit the box high and low then gather near the bottom.
Here is a phone picture of mine.
Ouch sorry that a little large!

Looks like the wrong heater core. Drilling an extra hole is cheap if you are not worried about it being correct..

For sure that is the wrong heater. Drill a new hole for the tubing and hope the bolt mounting holes can work.

As far as I know all is original, this heater box was covered in surface rust as the rest of the dash was. Will get pic shortly

Here is a photo of the heater box in My '59. While on the subject, with the 223 engine I have, what is the coolant capacity?

That's what I did, used My saw and made the hole a tad taller, and I think it wil be fine. The battery tray will hide things, so I'm good

1957/60 F100/1100 ~ Two different heaters: Fresh Air (left) & Recirculating (right).
B7TT-18476-A .. Heater Core ...is the same for both. But this doesn't mean that the heater core you're trying to install...is correct.
