I was just searching the subject yesterday, and there were a few posts. One user referred to Mr.Mustang and had links showing, what appeared to be pretty nice looking original style wiring harnesses. If you do a search on this forum "original wiring harness", it should show up along with other suggestions. From what I have seen, most of the typical mid-60's truck parts vendors don't sell wiring harnesses for the 60's trucks, only the earlier models. I'll be interested to see what others post, as I'm in the market as well.
Have not found company that reproduces the dash harness; if intend adding more circuits then an aftermarket kit may be another option; otherwise, dash harness can be repaired but requires patience, I used plastic ties to keep the wiring trunks separate while making the repairs then the non adhesive harness tape to rewrap. I decided to go with the repro. harnesses, same wire color codes and connectors, matter of removing the old and install the new and added couple extra circuits.
Dave, hit that link above. they have it for a 65 F100. Give them a call. They seem to know what they are talking about (to me, anyways, but I'm easily fooled).
Spoke with them about reproduction dash harness and they don't carry them but apparently if one sends them the original they can make one up, sounds promising, probably purchased the set from them if I were to have them make the dash harness?? Posting pic's of couple harnesses I purchased thru Mr. M for the 65.
