Ok, I see what you mean. I had forgotten about the rocker being recessed for the reinforcment. I was pretty sure the usa made reinforcements would not match up with the Tiawan Rockers.

Thats an awesome build john, not many like that on the road. I have only seen one other and thats up in Sandpoint Idaho. A guy running a floral shop rebuilt it and uses it in the summer to deliver flowers.

John,

If I understood correctly, you used the Tiawan rockers with the USA reinforcements from Mid Fifty. If you were to do it again, would you consider using a salvageable good section from the stock rockers for the reinforcement opposed to the USA reinforcements Mid Fifty sells?

I had thought of doing that but seeing as I had already purchased these reinforcements and don't have the luxury of returning the parts without costing me more I made them fit, I also had similar problems when I did my panel. I just figure it's all a part of this wonderful hobby we are into But yes I do think if you had a good section of your old rocker it could be used as the reinforcement, you can purchase the triangle piece seperately.

My triangles and upper mounts are good. But it looks like I have a shot of using some of the stock rocker sections to fabricate the reinforcement. It sounds like regardless of the USA reinforcement piece or a fabricated reinforcement from old panel, its going to require work to fit right. Thanks John.
