1955 F100 Rocker Panel Replacement

Need a new driver's side rocker panel. Mid Fifty has them only for a '56.

All the other places show their panels 53-56.

Is there really a difference in the 56?

I know I could order from Carpenter or someone else but have multiple items on my order and Mid Fifty is the only one that has all of the other things I need so would like to order from them.

Why not give Mid fifties a call. It might be just a mis print in their catalog or they should be able to tell you what the difference is. Keep us posted on what you find out.

The 56 rocker has an indent that is about 2 inches wide at the front of the panel near the lower door hinge. This indent is made to accommodate a separate stiffener panel that is welded to the inside of the cab corner on the 56. The slant cab rockers are smooth the full length and do not have this stiffener panel nor do they have the indent. Here a pic...

Thanks guys.

I did call Mid Fifty and they confirmed the 56 did not fit earlier models and that they do not make panels for anything but the 56.

Did some shopping and ordered from Mac's as they are the only other supplier I could find that didn't sell the rocker panels in pair.

I bought 53-55 rocker panels from Mid West Early Ford at Spring Carlisle last April. They have the little indent at their point like original 53-55 rocker panels.
