Frustrated!
Howdy, Folks!
'85 f150 302/AOD
How do you know if your TV cable is bad?
1-2 shift: so smooth you can't feel it
2-3 shift: smooth but way too early
She's not slipping bad, yet.
'Bout to order a new valve body, but wanna make sure the cable is good first.

I've tried it on about every notch, getting into third gear @ about
1500rpm at 25mph. Bit of a shudder on acceleration while in third.
Does that seem to early to you?
Does the cable get stretched or otherwise unserviceable?
I'd rather replace the cable than the VB!:-)
