just got this 50 f5 and have been playing around, tuned it up, put in a battery, Got it running, filled and bled the brakes, took it for a ride and the drivers rear wheel locked up, good thing I was on a gravel road, it dragged about a 1/4 mile home. I has dual wheels, I tried to take the lugs off but can't seem to get any of them loose, I used a 1 1/2 inch socket with long bar and even tried a little heat with no luck. I see that the left side is left hand thread but can't budge them, anyone have an idea how to go about getting them off and what do I need to get the inside wheel off want to free up the brakes, does any one have a oem lug wrench for sale. A friend said his F4 came with one but sold it with the truck years ago, thank you, glen

I use a Budd socket on a 3/4" breaker bar and a 4' pipe, with my 280 lbs standing on the end of the pipe, I have no problem.
BTW, do a search on "widowmaker wheels" before you drive that thing to far or attempt to work on the wheels. Sounds like you have some major brake work ahead of you. The first thing to free the brakes might be to bleed the wheel cyclinder that is locked up first.
This is what I have, that handles both the nuts and the thimble. http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Ca...505_0006542499

Did the same thing as above with pb blaster but I weigh 180 and had to bounce on 4' bar with wife hiting with a3lb hammer
Thanks for the help, OH I heat em and used a good ole long bar and jumped so many times and fell on my butt that I just stayed on the ground for the rest of the day. good idea about letting the air out, I may be going flying in the air instead of hitting the ground
