Any header should bolt on. If you happen to have CJ heads (unlikely) then the ports are different, but the bolt pattern is the same. Passenger car stuff is all the same up to the EFI era, then it is slightly different. You should be fine.

i run L & L headers in my truck, I've had 4 different 460's in it as well and the headers have fit everyone with no issues. the only complaint i have about the headers are the price. but in my opinion they are worth the price you pay.

There is a difference between 2wd & 4wd. The only ones I have been able to find for a 2wd are Headman Longtube

The biggest difference once you figure out 2 wd or 4wd is are you wanting to run inside the frame exit or outside the frame exit? That is the real question.

The car exhaust manifolds on the R/H side turn down a little short and some folks think that need to notch the top part of the truck frame when swapping in the 460.

I believe the 460 2wd exhaust manifolds will work, because the go back a little further and then turn down.

As far as inside or outside the frame exit, IMO outside is the way to go. That way you do not have to deal with that dang cross member and all that funky routing around the xfer case and then cross back over to get true duels....

I have 1 sets (Hedman) of fenderwell exits on one truck, and 2 sets of L&L outside the frame exit for some projects. I had a inside set on one truck and NEVER again will I make that mistake.
