Thanks for the link to the thread. I am in a bit of a time crunch but I did just run to Auto zone and bought the scan guage II. How can I use that tomorrow to help me?
You can hook this up to any OBD port and set the Gauge up, things to remember use> cansef, fuel tank size 24 gal, 6.0, you will need to Enter the Xgauges witch are posted in that link, for now add
EOT ( engine oil )
Wct ( coolant temp)
FICM MP ( main power)
FICM LP ( logic power)
FICM VP ( Vehicle power)
BATTERY
ICP
IPR
this should get you started and write the Values down and take them with you the Gauge will go into sleep mode but when you hook to the new truck just press red on then gauges this will bring up only four at a time , once you get some Idea of values then change to a diff group of numbers . I hope you get use to this gauge and learn real Quick when are going to drive it and are you going to sit and Ponder? the sale ( take your time) this truck is not the only 6.0 out there

Tomorrow will be the last day to think on it. I have done a few days of thinking after test driving it and such.
I think I will go for it if the gauge checks out and a few other things. I know it was very well taken care of by the one and only owner.

I can only get it to choose a few letters.. So I can't program many of these if not all of them. I am obviously missing something here. Anything you can help with?

Sorry had to make the Wife her MOMs day Dinner, One last thing open the Degus bottle cap and look inside , you don't want Green coolant at all, Must be ford gold ( gold yellow) or Cat ELC coolant witch is Red. ask what weight oil and brand he is using and what brand Coolant, Maybe pick his brain for Maintance on both also when was the last coolant flush and did he use any VC-9 not that's good or bad it just pulls crap into the Oil Cooler. Good luck and post some pic's of your New 6.0 Ride
