up pipe leaks? ??????

Hey everyone i was wondering if 7.3 up pipes could leak without showing signs of soot? I can slightly hear an exhaust leak in my cab and have 270,000 miles on the stockers but have no soot marks on any spot. Any advice would be thankful guys

I didn't see any soot on mine till I changed them out. So yes it is possible.

There's no way to see every angle on all exhaust components without serious help from lights and mirrors, or an inspection camera.

270,000 miles on the stock set-up? They are almost certainly leaking.
