I've been doing some recon on Google Earth, and I have found a few places that might have a 73-79. Sometimes, you can see on in street view, others, there's a definite pre 80's boxy shape (that could be a chevy as well) Problem is, some of those places don't even come up as a business.
Has anyone ever been to Starz on Old Byram Rd? It's a huge property with a lot of trucks, and there is definitely a lot of potential 73-79s.
This place came up as JB's used auto parts. It looks like a house with some cars at the end of the road. I can see at least one 73-79 from street view.

I've driven by this place (Rankin Country Auto Part) 50 times, but never when I have time or tools to pick. It's an older one and disorganized, so there could be some potential there.

I guess I had missed the country club one. You mean Coleman Brothers? Where else have you been? The places that look the best always have the meanest owners in the worst places.
I ran across a 74 F100. Lwb, big block (I think, it's a lot bigger than my 302), 4 speed, 4x4 in a local junkyard this weekend. If amyone is interested, let me know.
They also had a '53, 50th anniversary F series there.. never seen one, had a cool steering wheel center cap.
Northside Auto Repair. Northside Dr, Jackson, near Clinton. It's a small repair shop with a junkyard behind it. A nice guy named Robert runs it. He told me about the dent side he had in the back, also saw a bumpside there. Saw the 53 on the way back out. Let me know if you want to go see it and I'll meet you. I want to go back and look at a few things on the 74, it started raining on me Saturday and I had to leave.
I mostly just need front clip sheet metal, so any 73-79 would do. If I have to redo everything in the engine bay, I would prefer to find a modular engine with OD.
All I really know for sure is that the fuel line popped loose in the engine bay. I don't know if it did it on it's own, or if a belt or something else knocked it off.
I had pulled it out of the shop to clean up a bit and just left it running. After a couple minutes, I head a pop, and fire dropped out from the bottom. It went quickly from there.
Looking for a hood for my 77 F100, and my 76. Doesn't need to be flawless, just less rusty and full of holes. Going to scout the few junkyards down here but I doubt I will have much luck. Most everything now is 80s and newer. Every once in a while I'll see a 73-79 but it is usually picked clean by the time I get out to it.
Also if anybody needs a rebuildable c6 to go behind an FE I have a spare. Trans worked when I pulled it, but the front pump seal blew. I'd recommend a rebuild before I used it.
